Tricorne Top Lid

The Tricorne Top Lid is a universal piece of gear that works on most packs and serves 3 purposes, symbolizing the 3 points on a Tricorne hat used during the American Revolution. 

• As a top lid, it provides a cover for your pack with an additional 6 liters of storage volume. The lid contours perfectly around the top of our rucksacks and is free floating so items can be secured underneath it with compression straps.
• It can be removed and deployed as a fanny/sling pack using the included waist strap. This is perfect for a grab-and-go solution while at base camp. 
• For more serious operations, it can attach to our chest rig shoulder harness for emergency encounters or for using as a hiking chest pack. 
• The top lid can also be converted into a small day pack by using our optional Slim Shoulder Straps sold separately.

The interior of the pouch contains sleeves for storing extra mags or med kits, and the outside top has PALS webbing for lashing gear. The skirt around the lid folds up into a beavertail at the bottom while in fanny/sling pack or chest rig configuration, which is perfect for carrying water bottles, bear spray cans, small jackets, rope, etc.

The front has a 6" x 2" loop ID panel.
