At Urban Medical Gear, we operate a live inventory system to ensure fast and efficient order fulfillment. Most in-stock orders ship within 24 business hours of being placed, excluding weekends and holidays.

  • Our primary domestic carrier is USPS Priority Mail.

  • In certain cases, we may ship using UPS depending on package size, destination, or service requirements.

 

 

 

 

International Orders

 


International shipments may be sent using:

 

  • USPS First-Class International or Priority Mail International

  • UPS Worldwide Saver

 


Carrier selection is based on package weight, destination, customs requirements, and customer selection at checkout.

International transit times vary widely depending on the carrier, destination country, and customs processing:

 

  • USPS First-Class or Priority International:

    Delivery may take 30–60 days (1–2 months) or longer in some regions.

  • UPS Worldwide Saver:

    Typically arrives within 7–10 business days and is generally more reliable, though more expensive.

Heavyweight International Shipments

 


Large or heavy items are typically shipped via UPS due to reliability and tracking accuracy.


Heavy shipments may be subject to:

 

  • Additional shipping charges

  • Import VAT

  • Duties

  • Tariffs

  • Brokerage or handling fees

 


These fees are imposed by the destination country and are not collected by Urban Medical Gear.


Customers are responsible for reviewing their country’s current tariff schedules and import regulations before placing an order.

 

 

 

Customs Restrictions & Regulatory Compliance

 


Certain products sold by Urban Medical Gear—particularly first-aid supplies, trauma equipment, tactical gear, or self-defense-related items—may be restricted or prohibited in some countries, states, provinces, or cities.


Customs authorities in certain jurisdictions may classify these items as:

  • Tactical equipment

  • Defense-related goods

  • Restricted or wartime-related items

 


If customs rejects, delays, seizes, or destroys a shipment due to local regulations, Urban Medical Gear is not responsible for the outcome.


Customers are solely responsible for:

 

  • Verifying import legality in their jurisdiction

  • Confirming regulatory approval requirements

  • Ensuring compliance with local laws

 


Orders refused or confiscated by customs do not qualify for free refunds or replacements.

 

 

 

Duties, VAT & Import Fees

 


International orders do not include:

  • Customs taxes

  • Tariffs

  • Brokerage fees

 


These charges are assessed by the destination country and must be paid by the customer upon delivery.


Failure to pay import fees may result in the shipment being returned, abandoned, or destroyed by customs.

Cancellations, Returns & Shipping Deductions

 


If an order must be canceled or returned after shipment:

 

  • Original outbound shipping is non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund

  • Any customs fees or international shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Carrier handling fees and third-party fulfillment charges may apply

 


Refunds will be issued only after the item is received and inspected, in accordance with our Return Policy.
