PiggyBack Pack
Description
Small but packed with modularity, the 10L (600 cu. in.) PiggyBack Pack is designed to attach to our chest rig-kit bag Shoulder Harness or independently to the Small Pack Straps while capable of carrying 3L (100 oz.) water bladders up to 16" tall and 10" wide, comms equipment, or other gear. It lays nearly flat at only 4" deep but has just enough room for a bladder and other items.
It integrates perfectly with our chest rig-kit bag shoulder harness so it can be worn as a complete one-piece rig. Our Small Pack Straps also connect to the PiggyBack to be used as a standalone EDC pack. There are included 1" webbing straps to connect to the chest rig-kit bag harness and extension straps to be used as small shoulder straps.
The pack can also be used as a beavertail/piggyback on our Minuteman Packs or other compatible rucksacks by connecting it to the compression straps, as well as top and bottom connection points. Drop your larger ruck at base camp and detach the PiggyBack to use for a day hike.
There is a front zippered admin pocket that runs the full length of the bag with laser-cut PALS/MOLLE for attaching additional gear. Lashing loops all over the pack make it extremely versatile for running shock/bungee cord and attaching the PiggyBack to larger packs or plate carriers. Our larger packs all have removable compression straps that seamlessly integrate directly with the PiggyBack.
The internal divider contains a removable 1/4" stiff foam panel for structure and extra comfort. The bag is designed so that hydration tubes come out of either side of the zipper, meaning you can route it left, right, or even center top. There are dual zipper sliders to hold tubes in place whichever direction you choose to route them.
Note: You can purchase our chest rig-kit bag shoulder harness or Low-Pro Shoulder Straps separately to use the PiggyBack Pack as a standalone day pack.
